Free crochet pattern for baby shoes

Baby shoes free crochet pattern
My cousin's daughter is expecting a baby and she has asked me to make 4 different baby booties and baby shoes for her new grandchild-to-be. I've been scouring the Net for a pattern but either they were too small or I had to buy the pattern or I simply did not like the crochet baby shoes patterns. So finally looking at a picture, I managed to work this out and wrote it as I went along. It did not turn out exactly like the baby shoes that I tried to imitate but I came up with my own pattern for baby shoes in the end. I hope you like it. I have provided the crochet baby shoes instructions below.

Right Shoe :
Row 1 : Commence with 17 ch. 1 dc into second ch from hook and into each of next 7 ch, 1 tr into each of next 7 ch. In next and last ch, make 7 tr. Working on the other side of the chains, work 1 tr in each of the next 7 ch, 1 dc in each of next 7 ch, another 4 dc in first ch in which 1st dc has already been worked. Join with sl st to first dc.
Row 2: 3ch, 1 tr in each of next 15 dc/tr, (2 tr in next tr) five times, 1 tr in each of next 16 tr/dc, 3 tr in next dc, 4 tr in next dc, 3 tr in next dc. Join with sl st to top of 3 ch.
Row 3: 3 ch, 1 tr in each of next 15 tr., (2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in next tr) two times. (3 tr in next tr) two times, (1 tr in next tr, 2 tr in next tr) two times, 1 tr in each of next 16 tr, (2 tr in next tr, 1 tr in next tr) two times. (3 tr in next tr) two times, (1 tr in next tr, 2 tr in next tr) two times. Join with sl st to top of 3 ch.
Row 4: Working entire row in front loop of trs of previous row, 3 ch, tr in each of next 22 tr, (1 tr into next 2 tr (reduce)) 2 times, 1 tr in each of next 30 tr, (1 tr into next 2 tr (reduce)) 2 times, 7 tr. Join with sl st to top of 3 ch.
Row 5: 3ch, 1 tr into each of next 21 tr, (1 tr in each of next 2 tr (reduce)) 2 times,  tr into each of remaining trs. Join with sl st to top of 3 ch.
Row 6: 3 ch, 1 tr into each of next 11 tr, (1 tr in each of next 2 tr, reduce) 11 times, tr into each of remaining trs. Join with sl st to top of 3 ch.
Row 7: sl st into next 5 tr, 22 ch, 1 tr into 6th ch from hook, (1 tr into each of next 2 ch, skip 1 ch) 2 times, 1 tr in each of remaining chs. On shoe, skip 1 tr, and sl st into next tr thus joining the other side of the strap to the shoe. 1 sl st into each of next 5 trs, 1 ch, 1 dc in next tr, 1 htr in next tr, (1 tr into next 2 tr, reduce) 5 times, 1 htr in next tr, 1 dc in next tr. Turn.
Row 8: Keeping last loop of each st on hook, work 1 tr into each of next 7 tr to form a cluster. Pull tight, make a chain and pull tight again. Cut off yarn and weave in end.
For the left shoe replace rows 6 and 7 with the following:
Row 6: 3 ch, 1 tr in each of next 11 tr, (1 tr in each of next 2 tr, reduce) 11 times, 1 tr into each of next 9 tr. Sl st back into the 8th and 7th tr just worked. 22 ch, 1 tr into 6th ch from hook, (1 tr into next 2 ch, skip 1 ch) 2 times, 1 tr in each of remaining chs. On shoe, skip 1 tr, and sl st into next tr (last tr worked on this row) thus joining the other side of the strap to the shoe. Continue working 1 tr in each of remaining trs. Join with sl st to top of 3 ch.
Row 7: sl st into the first 12 tr, 1 ch, 1 dc in next tr, 1 htr into next tr, (1 tr into next 2 tr, reduce) 5 times, 1 htr in next tr, 1 dc in next tr. Turn.

Free crochet Coaster cover pattern

Free crochet pattern for coaster cover
Recently a friend provided me with a coaster and asked if I could make one like it. Her hubby's aunt who passed away last year had made them for a cousin who wanted them in black colour now. So she asked me  to do make 30 of them. I looked at the crochet coaster cover and as I made a new one, I wrote out the pattern for you. After a certain stage it calls for working the rounds in a spiral without beginning or end so as to maintain continuity but I am afraid I did not do it in the first one that I made. Will post a new picture sometime soon.

Here are the instructions:
Begin with 9 ch. Join with sl st to form a ring.
Row 1: 4 ch, (1 tr in ring, 1 ch) 17 times ending with sl st in third of 4 ch. (18 tr)
Row 2: sl st into next 1 ch sp, 3 ch, keeping last loop of each tr on hook work 3 tr into same 1 ch sp, draw thread through all four loops, 3ch. * Keeping last loop of each tr on hook, work 4 tr in next 1 ch sp, draw thread through all five loops (cluster made), 3ch. repeat from * all around ending with sl st into top of first cluster.(18 clusters)
Row 3: 3 ch, 3 tr in next 3 ch loop, * 1 tr in top of next cluster, 3 tr in next 3 ch loop, repeat from * all around ending with a sl st in top of 3 ch. (72 tr)

Note : Work in front loops from now on and without joining the rows but working in a spiral like you would for amigurumi so that there is continuity in the pattern. You my use a bit of yarn to mark the beginning of your row or you can also note the beginning of your earlier rows where a 3 ch replaces a tr.

Row 4: 1 dc into each tr all round. (72 dc)
Row 5: 1 dc into each dc all round. (72 dc)
Row 6: 1 dc into each dc all round. (72 dc)
Row 7: 1 dc into each dc all round. (72 dc)
Row 8: 1 dc into each dc all round. (72 dc)
Row 9: Work 1 dc in every two dcs all round. This is a decrease which reduces 72 dcs into 36.
