Translation of Spanish crochet terms to English

Ever wondered what punto bajo or punto alto meant when you were doing a crochet pattern in Spanish?
Punto bajo or pb is actually an sc in US terms or a dc in UK terms. Punto alto is a dc in US terms or a treble in UK terms. I have done quite a few Spanish amigurumi patterns so I thought this conversion from Spanish to English of crochet terms would help you as well. And although I have not yet attempted the German, Italian or french crochet patterns I have put it down here for future reference for me or any of my readers who might like to do so in the future.
