Free crochet pattern for baby booties |
My sister's friend is expecting a baby and so my sis has been experimenting with crochet booties. She came upon this crochet booties pattern and worked it out in white first and then tried adding some pink for a baby girl. You could also use blue instead of pink if it's a baby boy you are crocheting the booties for. Or if you do not know whether it is going to be a baby boy or a baby girl you could stick to a neutral colour like pastel yellow, purple or green.

What size hook did you use?
ReplyDeleteNot sure, will check and let you know when I get home. I used knitting cotton so used what needle normally goes with it for me, my tension. Needle numbers vary over countries/makes so I don't know if it might help you much. See here : http://cottonandcloud.com/blog/crochet-hook-sizes-conversion-chart-metric-japanese-uk-canadian-us/
DeleteHow do you stitch the back of the bootie? I have closed the sole, but it seems too narrow to go over the foot just by whipstitching the back together.
