Donald Duck Amigurumi Free Crochet Pattern

Donald Duck free amigurumi pattern
It's been a long time since I posted here as I have been so busy with office work! It's been one hell of a journey and I was really tired of how things were going on there! Had told them I want to throw in the towel a couple of years back and again some months back. They finally found a replacement and I am now enjoying my new found freedom. Sure feel like a bird set free from a cage. Now it's crochet time for me!! Yipee!! And time to blog as well!! Two of my favourite pastimes. Something I did not get to do for a long time. So watch out for some interesting free amigurumi patterns that I will be showing you besides other crochet stuff like baby booties

So the last couple of days I have been crocheting this cute little Donald Duck... loved him so much and got a similar reaction from family and friends once it was complete. My next project is going to be Daisy Duck... so keep watching this space! People ask me whether I sell these little crochet critters but even though I have sold a few I find it so difficult to part with them! Maybe it is the child in me who wants to hang on to them.. LOL.

Winnie the Pooh Small Amigurumi Free Pattern

Winnie the Pooh Small Amigurumi Free Pattern
It looks like I am really obsessed with these crochet critters and can't stop myself from making them. There are so many free amigurumi patterns to be found on the Net that I want to make each and every one that I set my eyes on! I simply loved this Winnie the Pooh pattern for amigurumi and although I had found a bigger one I was not really interested in making it. The little ones look too cute! I want to make Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet next so keep watching this space. Once I had this Winnie the Pooh crochet pattern, I was over enthusiastic and could not wait to start on it and even though I did not have sufficient yarn in yellow I started on it; then I could not get the exact shade of yellow at the market, it was a wee bit darker but I am sure you can't tell.If you too would like to crochet Winnie the Pooh, get the pattern here. Since it has Spanish instructions, you might like to see the Spanish to English translation of crochet stitches.

Free Snowman Amigurumi Pattern

I know it's summer already and the snow must have melted away in most parts of the world. But here is Frosty the Snowman... hope you like him! After the tiny snowmen ornaments I made last Christmas for the Christmas tree, I have been getting requests for a snowman that will sit or which would grace a table. So I found this pretty snowman pattern here. You might also like my other Christmas decor.

Charlie the chick free crochet pattern
Easter has come and it has gone. I wanted to make some crochet Easter decor but although I had crocheted this amigurumi chick I could not post it for a long time for want of eyes; I had misplaced the beads! :( Finally I have still not found my bead container (didn't search too earnestly though) but went out and bought some more beads. Seemed easier... :) So here is Charlie the chick, finally ready to say Happy Easter to you albeit very very late! If you would like to make this cute crochet chick, then you can get the free amigurumi chick pattern here. Snowman free crochet pattern

It's been quite a while since I last blogged. I made a lot of cute little snowmen last Christmas but I simply did not get down to blogging about them.I searched the Net and found quite a lot of free crochet instructions for snowman but finally I settled for this one. It was really fun making them in different rainbow colours but I decided that the blue, green, yellow and red ones look best so kept these for our Christmas tree; they make lovely Christmas tree ornaments. The others got given away as gifts. They caught everyone's eye and I have quite a few orders for next Christmas already.

Free mouse amigurumi crochet pattern

Free pattern for amigurumi mouse
I have certainly caught the bug in making these cute crochet amigurumis. I simply love these little crochet stuffed toys. My nieces and nephews love them too; my twenty year old niece made the doll and the bunny rabbit and my nine year old niece (I had to blackmail her with "make one get one free") made a coaster, a rat and half a snowman. Her amigurumi duck too is lying half done waiting for the next holiday when we are both home. My nephews loved the angry bird, Doraemon and the pink panther and most of the other amnigurumi too. I got this free mouse amigurumi pattern off the Net and liked it a lot because I crocheted it all in one stretch including the ears and the tail cutting off the yarn only at the end. The original mouse amigurumi pattern tells you to use a different colour yarn for the tail but I used the same color. I loved this free amigurumi pattern because I did not have to do any sewing afterwards. It is all in one piece. Simply loved the ears; made them while doing the body. Took me about 30 minutes in all. I would love to make these mouse amigurumi in rainbow colors. I am sure they would look good! The yellow amigurumi mouse already found a new home at my niece's ;) If you liked this mouse amigurumi, you can find the free pattern here.

Amigurumi Mouse

Amigurumi Mice free pattern
These crochet amigurumi mice are so adorable. I like anything that does not require sewing so I was thrilled that I had found a pattern where the ears are done while crocheting the body. And although the pattern told me to make the tail separately and sew it on to the body, I continued on and made the whole mouse without having to cut off the yarn. Great pattern! Get it here.

Little crochet rooster
I found this free pattern for a cock or duck here. If you exclude the cock's comb, you have a duck. It really looks cute and takes about 30 mins. to make. I made my own cock's comb as I didn't take a fancy to the looped one in the original pattern. You might also like the free pattern for the red angry bird.
